Can you really blame anyone for falling victim to Cash4Gold?

Can you really fault anyone if you actually believe in a company called “Cash4Gold”???  At first, I thought it was just a late night infomercial they played along old show re-runs but seems like they are huge now.  Must be really profitable by scamming people’s valuable gold and in exchange paying out lowly sums of cash.  Just found an article of an ex-employee giving his confessions for working at Cash4gold. I guess people really don’t know much about schemes but honestly, can you trust a company that will basically send you an envelope for you to put your jewelry in and then pay you on what they determine the value of the items?  I guess most logical thinking would be that if you had anything of value, you would already know and probably take it to a real jeweler... Continue Reading...

After a 5 month hiatus…

After a 5 month hiatus…

I am back and just don’t know where to start.  There are just too many reasons but I have just too many thoughts bottled up that I need to just jott down and encapsulate.  Here is a quick update on life in general: August 2008 – Purchased my first condo, closed escrow successfully and moved in.  Spent the rest of the month shopping, furnishing and working on small renovation projects.  This one is a worthy write up on its own. September/October 2008 – Nothing extraordinarily exciting except just busy at work as usual.  Convention seasons are typically middle of January to beginning of June, which, people take time off for their children’s graduation and summer vacations begin.  As does the inflow of all the tourists making the hospitality atmosphere a bit different. ... Continue Reading...
