
A list of important links and resources that I have found to be useful to my personal growth. In other words, this may be my own personal bookmarks.
- Automobile:
- VW Vortex - Volkswagen enthusiast forum. I used to use this to find out how to mod my car. These days, I visit all the other forum topics and have found a wealth of useful information in here.
- Web Development:
- W3Schools - Learn at your own pace with tutorials and examples; a wonderful resource and place to get your hands wet for developing for the web.
- BlueHost - Probably the best web hosting package out there. I have tried several from free to paid and this is probably the best one I’ve used that I paid. There really isn’t any hidden fees and gives you the most of the dollar.
- {Software Developer} - This is essential software news and it carries so many important helpful articles and resources. It is a must read, take my word for it.
- Smashing Magazine - Awesome online web development magazine offering free tips, tutorials and a host of professional advice. Great place as it collects information from many sources.
- Movies:
- QuickSilverScreen - Watch movies for free online. How else will you beat boredom at work? Just kidding but some of the movies offered have great quality.
- RedCurtainMovies - Another website offering links to movies online for you to stream or download to watch. You will need the DivX plugin but that can be easily downloaded as well.
- IMDB - Your source for movies. The internet movie database has a wealth of information from actors, actresses, movies and pictures.
