Originally, I tried to get the url: rjcdesign.com however it was taken so I opted for the next best thing, which was designrjc.com. Now that I am starting to put out more and more content, to me, DesignRJC sounds right, don’t it? I probably should have opted for the url: byrjc.com and then I am able to host unlimited sub-domains such as blog.byrjc.com or store.byrjc.com which would have been really cool too. Do not be surprised if my next domain is exactly that.
This blog is just a personal statement of my opinions and observations. I will also include updates of my current projects, studies, interests, and research. Although I had previously used services like Xanga or Blogger, this is my first attempt at using WordPress and so far I am fairly impressed.
To me, I want a venue to learn and also to teach. I also want to leave an imprint, a sort of time capsule for myself and I believe a blog is one of the best things to do. Have you ever read the book Satan Burger? It is a book about the decay of mankind and in it, they have the idea of history books written by each individual person. That very idea is a blog and so I find myself writing articles to remind and to share with everyone in the world, including myself.
