I watched the entire Lakers game against the Hawks, even though, it was a blow out. I’m glad I watched it because of this one high light play.
This also gave me a chance to watch the new additions to my Laker squad, Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown. I realized how horrible the Lakers typically are at the end. Our bench reserves, third string players, are horrible. Basically, in the 4th quarter with 6 minutes left; they could not even set any plays. Every possession resulted in a turn over. Good thing it was garbage time; but again, Shannon Brown is very atheletic and glad we got him on our squad now.

If you live here in the West Coast, you will be familiar with the burger chain known as In-N-Out. And if you never tried it, make it a must on your next trip out to California.
One of my favorite items to order from In-N-Out, besides their hamburgers, would bee their Animal-style french fries. Ever since I picked up my deep fryer, a Waring Pro DF100, I wanted to start creating some cool french fries recipes and one challenge was to create my own In-N-Out Animal-style fries. On one evening, I set out to create three different types of french fries:
In-N-Out Animal style french fries
Garlic Fries
Here is my recipe for the In-N-Out Animal style french fries:
One onion – sauteed in a sauce pan with butter, black pepper and salt
One potato – cut into strips and put into deep... Continue Reading...

In my company, my role/position/title is of Account Manager, however, I am just what you call a glorified Customer Service Representative handling almost all operaitonal aspects for my company in a particular geographic region. The job used to excite me because I was able to travel and not be in an office setting all day long. Meeting new people, helping them resolve their issues and helping with their customers used to be challenging and made me feel rewarding. Now, it is just annoying as I answer and send emails consistently all day (no thanks to the corporate Blackberry) or am tied to my phone all day talking, explaining and teaching annopying, ignorant clients what has already been agreed with them. Another thing is the lack of commaderie found in an office. In my area, there... Continue Reading...

I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day because I feel it is overated and every day can be treated as something special. However, I still needed to show my appreciation to my lovely wife by spending quality time with her. I had wanted to go have dinner at Ruth’s Chris because I felt I wanted to treat both of us to a nice steak and lobster dinner. Alas, since I did not plan ahead to make reservations, it was fully booked. No presents were bought either. Given a particular budget, I became inspired to do a Valentine’s Day activity instead. In the end, I decided we can spend a day doing something we were both unfamiliar with and something we can do together. Best of all, it will help along decorating our place making it feel more vibrant with life and color.
We... Continue Reading...

Ever since owning a Sony Playstation 3, I wanted to use it as media center instead of just a gaming console. It already had the capability of browsing the internet with its built-in web browser and wireless/wired ethernet capabilities. It can handle formats such as Video CD’s, DVD’s and Blu-ray. It could also handle digtial formats like .avi, mpeg videos, etc. which you can plug a USB flash drive and play off of. However, I did not feel like constantly using the browser to watch YouTube videos.
Instead, a company called MediaMall came up with an awesome solution allowing me to stream video onto my videogame consoles such as the PS3, Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii called PlayOn. Best of all, it allowed access to Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and other internet video sources. Being... Continue Reading...
