I was reading an article on Gizmodo about the iPod Shuffle being placed in a popsicles as a prize. I immediately began to think how I always hated the Apple iPod Shuffle and thought what a stupid gadget it was. Sure, it is small in size, comes in a multitude of colors now, much larger date capacity and of course it is an digital music player from Apple and that is all that makes it great. However, its greatest downfall is summed up by its name, Shuffle.
If I hated someone, I would purchase an iPod Shuffle and give it to them as a gift just to annoy them. To let them upload songs onto a mp3 player and unable to choose certain songs you wanted to listen. Oh the agony when you are stripped of choice!
I certainly would feel hated if I had received such a device as a gift or prize. Why would I want a digital music player that will not let me choose the songs I would want to listen to? Yes, you are able to upload songs of your choice and create iTunes playlists (which is also a horribly designed media player, with the exception of cover flow) but that does me no good when I just wanted to listen to a particular song. The iPod Shuffle will do me no good as it just shuffles songs back and forth creating a musical chaos of different genres that will strike different moods in me.
If you are a Shuffle owner, then you are an idiot unless you received it as a gift. In that case, I am sorry but someone hates you. If that is indeed the case, I would keep the gift wrapped and give it to a co-worker or supervisor that I disliked and watch them give a grimace of a fake smile when they open the gift and see what they received. That in itself, would be the justification for purchasing an iPod Shuffle along with the countless hours of annoyance they will receive trying to customize their playlists to realize, all it did was to shuffle.

You unappreciative mother fucker. You’re what’s wrong with the world.
Brad, the truth made you mad didn’t it? I bet you are an only child, and you hate to share.
