These metal plates are made from 99.9% gold foil plus EMI fiber and removes 95% of electromagnetic waves. The plate covers are for the front and back and come in two different color options right now; silver and gold.

For the past few months, I have been working shorthanded and understaffed covering an entire metropolitan region/district all by myself since my direct supervisor decided to leave and pursue further education. This is all great as I am basically automatically promoted to his position, however, my current director (soon to be promoted, might I add) has been grilling me. All I heard during this promotion process is what he expected and what needs to be done because of the piss poor condition my service area has done, blame predecessor, but it took over a month for an offer letter to be formulated. Add insult to injury, the offer came to me as a shock as it compensated less than my predecessor. A big low ball offer for my services.
I had to renegotiate and altogether this process took another 3 weeks. Sure, I renegotiated to the same pay rate and was also promised to be retroactively compensated for the month I had already been acting in the promoted role and working understaffed. In the end, nothing was retroactively reflected in my paycheck and I have to train a new assistant. Training is not bad as it will reflect my ability to teach and lead but I expect it to be at my pace.
