I was reading an article on Gizmodo about the iPod Shuffle being placed in a popsicles as a prize. I immediately began to think how I always hated the Apple iPod Shuffle and thought what a stupid gadget it was. Sure, it is small in size, comes in a multitude of colors now, much larger date capacity and of course it is an digital music player from Apple and that is all that makes it great. However, its greatest downfall is summed up by its name, Shuffle.
If I hated someone, I would purchase an iPod Shuffle and give it to them as a gift just to annoy them. To let them upload songs onto a mp3 player and unable to choose certain songs you wanted to listen. Oh the agony when you are stripped of choice!
I certainly would feel hated if I had received such a device as a gift or prize. ... Continue Reading...

A meal at a casual restaurant such as BJ’s or TGIFridays. Rowdy crowd. Good atmosphere. Drinks. Good times.
Or…
Perfect environment, stylish post-modern setting, jazzy lounge music and a fusion cuisine. Romantic dinner or first date.
Whatever it is, as long as it is a meal that you are eating out, there is a hidden fee. Why is it restaurants are able to demand gratuity of service charges of 10%, 15% or even 20%? I believe in tipping and gratuity but does it not come at the performance of the server? If the server sucked, why do they deserve a tip?
Similarly, what distinguishes the reason behind tipping? Typically you tip or offer gratuity to doorsmen at hotels, people that bring your luggage, cab drivers, strippers and bartenders just to name a few. But if society... Continue Reading...

While reading through Digg, I came across this Flickr site titled “Obscene Interior“. I thought it was a great idea for art. It definitely takes a page out of the whole Apple iPod commercial where everyone is a silhouette but the picture is taken from porn. Snap shots of porn stars in action doing the dirty deed. Interesting art concept and I would rather just call it SFW(Safe for work) porn.
There really isn’t anything bad going on in here except cut outs of people and typical room setting. Let your imagination have the rest and you be the judge, is this safe for work or not? I would say if you click this at work and take a look, there really is nothing indecent about it. For those that say it is indecent and is filth and that this is not work safe, then you are guilty... I recently read through a study title “Dreams: Night School” and it basically explores and defines exactly what dreams are. After running tests on lab mice from prohibiting them ever obtaining REM sleep (dream state); these mice functioned poorly and were not able to rely on their instinctive nature to react. The article further explains the reason our dreams tentatively have a negative tone is due to the fact that in our dreams, we put ourselves in situations were we are tested to react in preparation for reality. It does make sense as most of our dreams are typically negative even nightmarish. The worst possible situations we find ourselves are typically in dreams but how we end up saving the day or overcoming it in our dream is what helps us achieve in reality.
After reading... Continue Reading...

With the Apple iPhone, comes an ocean of options when it comes to accessorize your new gadget. From the next Bluetooth headset to cases to earphones to screen protectors but here is something I have not seen yet. iPhone metal plate covers that lets you distinguish the look of your device. These metal plates are made from 99.9% gold foil plus EMI fiber and removes 95% of electromagnetic waves. The plate covers are for the front and back and come in two different color options right now; silver and gold.
I have included some additional pictures.
They also have these metal plate covers for the iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPod shuffle and Nintendo DS.
What do you think? Would you add this mod to your phone?
