For the longest time I had held off on paying for television services either cable or satellite. I even avoided FTA (free to air), basically hacked satellite service. I basically relied on getting my television or movie fixin’ via the internet. I admit though, I still have a Blockbuster movie pass because I still want to watch movies via my home theater but in order to get by on the times when I run out of interesting movies to watch or if I am traveling, I rely on the internet and all its great content available.
Here are some sites, in no particular order I use to get my television or movie programming:
- http://www.tv-links.co.uk/ - Lots of content. Easy to use. Links to movies are questionable as some are broken but the television show links work most of the time.
- http://openflv.com - Simple layout and search mechanism. Reminds me of Google.
- http://www.movieforumz.com/ - Its a forum and these dynamic communities give you a nice resource to get what your looking for well enough.
- http://joox.net/ - Great collection of streaming videos from all over the world.
- http://www.nabolister.com/- Reminds me of AstaLaVista, from back in the day. Definitely a nostalgic feel to it.
- http://youtube.com - Your familiar with it by now.
- http://collegehumor.com - Lots of offbeat humor and video clips.
That ends my bookmarking list of where I get my media fixin’ besides reading through lines of code and a bunch of emails. The kind folks at KaZoop has compiled a top ten list if you are interested in their description and review of the sites they offer you can Click Here.
